A second photographer (aka second shooter) isn’t just about getting more photos (obviously you do get more photos, but that’s not the point!) It’s about giving you a whole extra perspective on your day.

Same moment, two perspectives
You’ve got two people telling the story instead of one, you see two angles from every moment. You don’t just see the things that happened on your wedding day, you also get to see the way people react to them.
You get to see both of you getting ready at the same time, and what your friends were up to while you were having your couples shots.
Here are examples of the same moments captured by two different photographers so you can see what I mean. It’s a split second moment taken from two angles.

Examples of situations I’d recommend a second photographer
- If you have a larger wedding (100 guests plus), I always recommend a second shooter, simply because there’s only so much I can capture by myself.
- You want both sides of the morning preparations covered in detail.
- Morning preparations are taking place somewhere far away from your ceremony location (30 mins+)
How does hiring a second photographer work?
The good news is, it all happens through me and you don’t need to add anything extra to your wedding planning list!
To add a second shooter to your wedding day please let me know as soon as possible (the sooner the better!)
I will then hire another photographer (someone just like me) for the day, who I know you’ll love and will do a great job.
I will then edit both sets of photos together, so that all your photos will look cohesive throughout your album, and truly tell the story of your big day!
