Howsham Hall Location
Situated close to Malton, North Yorkshire, and just 20 minutes from York. Howsham Hall is a favourite with couples based locally and travelling from much further afield. This stunning Grade 1 listed Jacobean Mansion is set in 80 acres and it’s exclusively yours for your wedding celebrations.
Weddings at Howsham Hall
With 12 beautifully decorated bedrooms and the largest bridal prep space in Europe, there’s plenty of space for both sides of the wedding party to get ready onsite.
For this particular wedding I was second shooting for another photographer and designated to groom prep, where I focussed on details and the Groom’s emotional reaction upon reading a letter from his soon to be bride!
Ceremony options
This opulent North Yorkshire wedding venue is licensed for both indoor or outdoor ceremonies and can offer celebrations for between 60 and 150 guests. On a beautiful day, the riverside terrace offers the most stunning backdrop for an outdoor ceremony.
There is of course, the option to marry at a local church. And on this occasion, the couple chose to marry at All Saints Church, Slingsby.
Celebrations at Howsham Hall
Back to Howsham Hall for a drinks reception on the Riverside Terrace and Wedding Breakfast in the Drawing Room. One of the things I liked most about this luxury North Yorkshire Wedding venue is that there are seperate spaces for all the different parts of the wedding day.
