Have you thought about having a ‘first look’ as part of your wedding photography’?

A what now? Yes it’s quite an American thing to do, but it’s also a super romantic moment for just the two of you (and me) to do before you get married.
You’ll still get ready as normal, but then you carve out 5 or 10 minutes to see each other BEFORE the ceremony. It makes for a great photographic moment, and removes the pressure of all your other guests seeing you too.
Let’s forget all that silly ‘don’t see each other before the wedding’ superstition for a minute. A first look is a moment neither of you will ever forget. And whenever I’ve captured one, the photos are invariably among my couple’s favourites of the day.

First look logistics
Your first look needs to be before your ceremony, and preferably after you’ve both finished getting ready.
If you’re getting ready and getting married in the same venue, it’s super easy to arrange. Otherwise, you’d need to meet up somewhere nearby the ceremony venue a few minutes before you’re due to get married.
If you need help sorting out the logistics, let me know and I’ll help. I know it sounds complicated to arrange, but trust me, it’ll be totally worth it!
