Hannah & Kristian’s Joy-Filled early Autumn Wedding at The Saddle Room
Ohhh, where do I even begin with this glorious day?! Hannah & Kristian tied the knot on a glorious September day at the stunning Saddle Room, and it honestly couldn’t have been more perfect. The sun shone, the atmosphere was full of warmth (and not just from the weather), and there was this buzz of excitement and happiness in the air that never really left all day.
These two had such a clear vision for their wedding: they wanted it to be all about the people they love, full of joy, laughter, and genuine moments — and that’s exactly what it was.
An Outdoor Ceremony with Alfie the Ring Bearer 🐾
Let’s talk about the ceremony… set outdoors in the beautiful sunshine with the Yorkshire countryside as a backdrop. Just dreamy. And adding to the magic? Their adorable dog Alfie, who absolutely stole the show as ring bearer. He trotted down the aisle like a total pro (and may have got a few bonus cuddles along the way!).
9 Bridesmaids, Big Love and Beautiful Moments
Hannah looked radiant, surrounded by her 9 lovely bridesmaids, all beaming with pride and excitement. There was such a buzz of activity in the morning, but also a real sense of calm – these were people who clearly love and support each other deeply. Before the ceremony, we made time to capture individual portraits with all the bridesmaids, groomsmen, and family – just as Hannah & Kristian had hoped. They wanted these memories captured before the whirlwind of the day swept everyone up – and I’m so glad we did.
A Wedding That Flowed Naturally
One of the things I loved most about their approach was how chilled and intentional it all felt. They told me early on:
“We just want pictures to fit into our day rather than fitting the day around pictures.”
And that’s exactly how we did it. Natural, relaxed photography that captured the real essence of the day – from cheeky glances to teary hugs to spontaneous bursts of laughter. Nothing too posed or staged, just real life and real love.
(Although, I must say… they’d been practicing their dip kiss for after the ceremony, and absolutely NAILED it. 10/10, guys!)
All the Feels
The rest of the day was just as full of heart. From heartfelt speeches to belly laughs on the dancefloor, there was never a moment that felt forced or too formal. It was simply a brilliant day celebrating two wonderful people, surrounded by all the people they love most.
Hannah & Kristian’s wedding was the perfect reminder that your day really can be whatever you want it to be – relaxed, joyful, dog-inclusive and full of all the people who make your heart happy.
