What do you do?

Hi, I’m Hannah and I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m a North Yorkshire photographer, a lover of a good brew (Yorkshire Tea, of course), and a lover of a good brew by day (Yorkshire Tea, of course) and a G&T by night. I shoot with a 90% documentary style (that’s capturing things exactly as they happen) and gentle guidance for the other 10%.

How I work

I’m all about documenting life’s joyful moments. I started my business in 2017 after spending quite a long time on the corporate hamster wheel.

I’ll never ever forget my first wedding back in 2018. As the couple said their vows and I snapped away, I felt the clouds part, the angels sing and the sun shining down on me. Ok, slight exaggeration, but it was a huge lightbulb moment for me.

I would become a wedding photographer!!

So that’s me, Hannah Brooke, your girl behind the camera. You could say my style is fun, colourful and candid.

A bit more about me:

  • I’m Yorkshire born and bred but happy to travel. Though I strongly believe we have the best tea.
  • I live in Wetherby, which is a beautiful Yorkshire market town and NOT just an A1 service station!
  • I’m a collector of experiences rather than things.
  • I’m an extroverted introvert – super chatty but I also love my alone time.
  • I love being in nature – by the sea is my fave.
  • I’m a mummy to two very talkative and inquisitive children and we also have a gorgeous black Labrador.
  • I believe beauty shines from within and no I won’t photoshop anyone thinner.
  • Me and my hubby met online in 2010 so I bloody LOVE a tinder success story!

Documenting your big life moments, the way you want to remember them

Hannah is amazing! From first booking her until getting our wedding photos, Hannah was great and it was clear she had lots of experience in capturing all the special moments of the day. On the day, so many of our guests complimented her and she fitted in perfectly with her calm and friendly personality. She chatted to all our guests, and was more than happy to help out with any buttonholes or veils that needed attaching! Our sneak peeks came back so quickly and they were gorgeous, such a lovely way to look back on the day. When our full album came through, we were blown away! Not only were the photos of us stunning, Hannah really managed to capture the joy everyone felt that day. We have absolutely loved looking through them all, reliving all the small moments throughout the day. We can’t thank Hannah enough!!
