Sarah and Ben had quite the covid messed up journey to this woodland ceremony beer festival wedding party of dreams at @linehamweddings.

6 wedding dates, 2 actual weddings and I’m just so pleased this lovely couple finally got the day they wanted and deserved.

And I’ll be back for more wedding action with this family in 2024 for Rachel & Joe. 🥰 Can’t think of a nicer family to spend all these wedding days with tbh. Hopefully one day they’ll just adopt me. 🙋🏼‍♀️🤣

May & June have been chock full with the most BEAUTIFUL WEDDINGS. All of them completely unique and different and I’m so grateful to each and every one of you for choosing me to photograph it all!

121 mentoring and my Beyond the lens (from beginner to pro wedding photography) course are enrolling now!

Hang on, isn’t it the middle of wedding season, I hear you cry?! It is indeed and I’m double wedding-ing again this very weekend (in a 30 degree heatwave - send help!) but I’m all about the variety and the balance and it turns out I blooming love sharing all I know and helping others get on their way with their photography businesses. Im keeping the spaces limited as I want to be able to support you properly!

So what do I know about running a business? Quite a bit actually. I set my business up in 2017 when my confidence was in tatters (corporate job, return from maternity, I won’t harp on about that) and I’ve built it up to a business that is beyond what anyone expected of me, especially me. I left the job that was making me unhappy, started a new one that made me happy again, built my business up all by myself and then quit the nice day job in January 2020 - right before a blooming pandemic.

I didn’t get a scrap of government support so it was make or break for my business. And much as I wish the pandemic had never happened, I came out of it with a much stronger business. I’d say that was completely unexpected, but there’s nothing unexpected about it! I’ve worked my ass off and consistently invested in learning the sh*t I needed to learn to get exactly where I am today.

I’ve made ALL the mistakes, learned ALL the lessons the hard way (still learning!) and had ALL the mindset / imposter syndrome type wobbles.

I’m not the finished product (who is?!) but I am living and breathing proof that it can be done.

It’s totally possible to build a solid and profitable photography business that’s more than a “hobby” or a “side hustle” you just have to really want it. And yes, I do believe there’s room for us all!

Confession time. I don’t have any photographs of myself from when I was pregnant with my first born. In truth I was full of self criticism and I felt huge, and also random people felt the need to keep telling me so!
(I mean, I was, but I was bloody pregnant 🤷‍♀️🙄)

I wasn’t much better the second time either, there’s just a couple of phone snaps in existence! And I feel a bit sad looking back that I didn’t feel like recording those moments.🤦🏼‍♀️

So when my beautiful friend @imsophieholmes told me she was expecting baby no.3 (how fricking AMAZING does she look) we decided it had to be an epic golden hour shoot by the river. With an amazing dress from @bellelueur_gowns 💃🏼

That light though….RIGHT?? ☀️
